Family Earth is an outdoor experience center where families learn, play, and build.
Join us in developing a sustainable relationship with nature through positive experiences and community building.
We gather on the Mohawk territory of the Haudenosaunee people.

Family Earth
Family Earth builds the capacity of families to mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis.
We bring families together in nature to build relationships, knowledge and skills.
We support families to live in ways that regenerate ecosystems and reverse global heating.

Building capacities
Family Earth builds capacities through outdoor, hands-on experiences that engage all members of the family:
Join us for the day? Check out our seasonal “Playshops”
Ready for a bigger change? Weeklong Nature Staycations give your family the opportunity to reconnect, be on the Land, and figure out how to be kinder to our earth.

Our Neighbourhood
At Family Earth we gather on 38 acres of regenerated forest, meadow and wetland, 1 hour from Ottawa, 1.5 hours from Montreal, and 10 minutes from Kaniatarowanenne (the St. Lawrence River: Mohawk).
We are a team of parents, children, facilitators and artisans committed to giving our descendants, and all of Creation, a better chance for the future. We care about the struggles that families face, help them move forward in a better way and act as honourable guests of the peoples Indigenous to the lands where we live, play and work.
